Täglich fotografischer Müßiggang im strengen Raster der Straßen und entlang der Flüsse Scioto und Olentangy mit dem Fahrrad. Zeichnerische Kontemplation und Verdichtung im Studio des alten Industriegebäudes 400 West Rich und dessen Community von über 100 Künstler*innen. Hier gelingt auf Anhieb ein offener Kontakt auch mit Offspace-Initia-tiven und Projekten in den Neighbourhoods, – intensiv und bereichernd! Im Alltag mu-sealer Bildungsbesuche von Detroit, Toledo, Chicago und Pittsburgh streife ich die irritierende Vielschichtigkeit amerikanischer Gesellschaften und ihrer Wurzeln und bin dankbar den vielen freundschaftlichen Begegnungen und offenen Menschen.

Here an open contact with offspace-initiatives and projects in the neighborhoods succeeds immediately – intensive and enriching! In my daily educational visits to museums in Detroit, Toledo, Chicago, and Pittsburgh, I touch upon the irritating complexity of American societies and their roots and am grateful for the many friendly encounters and open-minded people.
