Kunsthaus Raskolnikow
Das Kunsthaus Raskolnikow ist ein traditionsreicher Ort auf der kulturellen Karte der Dresdner Neustadt. Der gleichnamige Verein wurde 1990 als eine Künstlerinitiative gegründet. Junge Künstler*innen besetzten damals das marode Haus in der Böhmischen Straße 34. Ihre Triebkraft waren die politischen und sozialen Umbrüche um die Wendezeit. Seitdem hat sich die Galerie des Kunstvereins zu einer beliebten Kulturinstitution entwickelt. Der Verein fördert hochwertige und aktuelle künstlerische Impulse. Andererseits ist es unser Anliegen, ein Vermittlungsformat anzubieten, welches die Kunst authentisch und direkt erlebbar macht. Das Kunsthaus Raskolnikow bleibt damit seinen eigenen Wurzeln und dem einmaligen genius loci der Dresdner Neustadt treu.
The Kunsthaus Raskolnikow is a traditional place on the cultural map of Neustadt, the part of the city Dresden. The Kunstverein (art association) of the same name was founded in 1990 as an artists‘ initiative. Young artists occupied the desolate house at Böhmische Straße 34 at the time, driven by the political and social upheavals around the political turnaround. Since then the gallery of the Kunstverein has developed into a popular cultural institution. The gallery promotes high-quality and current artistic impulses. On the other hand, it is our concern to offer a mediation format that makes art authentic and directly experienceable. The Kunsthaus Raskolnikow thus remains loyal to its own roots and the unique genius loci of Dresden’s Neustadt.

Greater Columbus Arts Council
Der Greater Columbus Arts Council (Kunstrat) finanziert Künstler und Kunstorganisationen und bietet über den ColumbusMakesArt.com (Veranstaltungskalender) und das Künstlerverzeichnis Marketingdienstleistungen zur Unterstützung von Künstlern und Organisationen an. Darüber hinaus veranstaltet das GCAC die jährlichen Community Arts Partnership Awards, mit denen geschäftliche und individuelle Beiträge zur Gemeinschaft gewürdigt werden, sowie das Columbus Arts Festival, das jedes Jahr im Juni stattfindende Sommerevent der Stadt.
The Greater Columbus Arts Council (Arts Council) funds artists and arts organizations and provides marketing services that support artists and organizations through the ColumbusMakesArt.com event calendar and Artist Directory. The GCAC produce the annual Community Arts Partnership Awards recognizing business and individual contributions to the community and the Columbus Arts Festival, the city’s welcome to summer event that takes place each June.

Die Kulturstiftung des Freistaates Sachsen fördert seit 1993 Kunst- und Kulturprojekte, vergibt Stipendien und kauft zeitgenössische Kunst an. Ihre Arbeit dient der freien Entfaltung von Kunst und Kultur im Freistaat Sachsen. Sie unterstützt die Entwicklung neuer künstlerischer Ausdrucksformen und fördert den künstlerischen Nachwuchs. Sie engagiert sich für die nachhaltige Vermittlung von Kunst und Kultur, die Pflege des kulturellen Erbes und die grenzüberschreitende kulturelle Zusammenarbeit. Das Austauschprogramm mit Columbus ist seit 2012 Teil der internationalen Stipendienprogramme der Kulturstiftung.

Its work serves the free development of art and culture in the Free State of Saxony. It supports the development of new forms of artistic expression and promotes young artists. It is committed to the sustainable communication of art and culture, the preservation of cultural heritage and cross-border cultural cooperation. The exchange programme with Columbus has been part of the international scholarship programmes of the Cultural Foundation since 2012.
